The Friends of Torkington Park Duck Race festival was held on 26th June with over 500 residents and children taking part

The Friends of Torkington Park are having a Duck Race Festival in the park on Sunday 26th June 2011. Races start at 2pm.
This is a community event to raise money for improvements in the park and locally based or supported charities.
There will be a number of different race categoties and an overall champions race. Winners will receive trophies and certificates

Perfect Pizza will reopen under New Management on Friday 6th May 2011.

Asda are not welcome as they have made traffic problems even worse on the notorious A6.
